When Dr. Harrel founded Harrel Eyecare in 2000 he carefully selected the best vision care team possible. In addition to working as your local family eye doctor, Dr. Monte Harrel also works as a frequent keynote speaker and has dedicated time to founding the Visual Fitness! Program to help optimize children’s vision. This fun and interactive vision therapy program is designed around a simple game that helps to gradually improve children’s vision as they play. Since its launch, the program has been a great success and was even implemented in 4 Tulsa elementary schools.

This award-winning team has also been recognized with many prestigious local honors over the past 15+ years that we have been serving the Tulsa area. One of the most recent honors our team has been awarded includes the TulsaPeople’s Readers’ Choice A-List Award 2017, our 7th straight win.
