Dr. David Kolker received his undergraduate education from the University of Tulsa and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 1985. The son of an optometrist from Sand Springs, Dr. Kolker has worked in the eye care field his entire life. He merged his private practice with Harrel Eye Care in 2013.
Dr. Kolker was one of the first optometrists in the nation certified in Laser Vision Correction. In addition, he has served as an author, clinical adviser, and lecturer in the area of computer vision care. Currently, Dr. Kolker splits his time between providing family eyecare at Harrel Eyecare Center and serving residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout Oklahoma. He has a special interest in conditions of the elderly including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma.
Dr. Kolker especially enjoys the interaction he has with his patients. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and cycling.
